As a member of a student community, you can access a price discount. To do this, it is necessary that you complete the information on the student form, indicating your name, registered email and university information.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

This psychotherapy modality is based on the premise that cognitive constructions determine the way that an individual feels and behaves, and how cognitive distortions (faulty cognitions) create psychological disturbances that will interfere in the individual’s lifestyle. CBT focuses on identifying maladaptive thoughts and understanding the assumptions behind them with the purpose of correcting or countering these irrational ideas that interfere with a healthy functioning.

 

Motivational Interviewing (MI)
This counseling approach is a directive, client-centered psychotherapy style for stimulating behavioral change by helping clients to achieve some introspection to resolve ambivalences. These techniques are goal-directed in lieu of ambivalence resolution evocating to positive life changes.

 

Solution-Focus Brief Therapy (SFBT)
SFBT is a short-term and goal-directed psychotherapy modality that focuses on the individual’s present problem (Here and Now) with the purpose of navigating into plausible solutions and alleviating psychological symptoms. This is a collaborative approach guided by a series of structured questions with the intention of reaching a psychotherapeutic change.

 

Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)

This type of psychotherapy focuses on relieving symptoms of distress by improving interpersonal functioning. The techniques are oriented to address problems and relationships in the present moment, rather than childhood or developmental issues.
